About Me:
I am a freelance Makeup artist living in Vancouver, British columbia. I came here in December 2007 to attend the "makeup artistry diploma program" at Blanche Macdonald. Soon after graduating in November 2008 I discovered a passion for airbrushing and continue to practice whenever possible.
I enjoy airbrushing at club events put on locally by companies such as, Luvngrace entertainment. I am also working for mehndi and more, where I have learned skills such as mehndi, glitter tattoos and facepainting.
In February 2008 I started volunteering for The Beauty Night Society. The Beauty Night Society is a Non-profit organization that offers wellness programs to marginalized women and youth. In 2009 I coordinated a Beauty Night in my hometown, Prince George. I then came back to Vancouver and became the makeover program coordinator for Beauty Night Society. Through the Beauty Night Society I have had the chance to work with many great hairdressers, photographers and other makeup artists. It also gives me a chance to play with new makeup techniques, grow my hairstyling skills and enjoy other creative outlets.
In late 2011 I started the hairdressing program with Future hair school. Unfortunatley I have had to take a (hopefully) short break and will be back soon to strengthen my hairdressing skills.
